
BTS member Jungkook recently garnered significant attention for his thoughtful gesture of personally making and distributing homemade snacks to staff members, showcasing his genuine care and culinary talents.
During a recent interview with WIRED, the BTS members shared a heartwarming anecdote. They revealed that Jungkook had “recently made 200 Dubai Chewy Cookies (Doojjonku)” and “distributed them to the staff members on set.” When some members expressed that they hadn’t had a chance to try them, Jungkook immediately replied, “I plan to make more tonight,” further emphasizing his affection for both his bandmates and the production staff.
When asked about the origins of his impressive cooking skills, Jungkook responded, “I learned a lot about knife skills in the military.” He added, “I usually enjoy doing things on my own, so I think I mostly learned by watching videos.” His fellow members were quick to praise his culinary prowess. J-Hope exclaimed, “Wow, he’s really good!” and elaborated, “He makes pasta and many other dishes.” Suga affirmed, “When we gather, he often cooks by himself,” while V fondly recalled, “Jungkook cooked a lot for us at home too,” all highlighting his exceptional abilities in the kitchen.


Beyond his cooking, Jungkook is widely known for numerous heartwarming actions and acts of kindness. During the filming of the official FIFA World Cup soundtrack ‘Dreamers’ music video, crew members lauded his thoughtfulness, stating, “Jungkook always checked if we were all okay and not too tired.” They added, “He bowed respectfully after every take and was incredibly kind. Jungkook even stood and waved until all the dancers had left the set.”
His considerate nature has been documented on multiple occasions. During filming for the American CBS talk show ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ despite stumbling, Jungkook immediately rushed to assist staff members. At the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships,’ he voluntarily picked up trash, helping with cleanup efforts. On the ‘Music Bank’ stage, he assisted staff in organizing props after performances. Furthermore, he continually expresses his deep appreciation for fans, creating and gifting ‘Golden Multi Perfume’ and sending a thoughtful lunch box truck to a pre-recording for ‘Inkigayo’ as special treats.
Jungkook frequently shares his passion for cooking through his personal broadcasts, where he has showcased his skills live, preparing a variety of delectable dishes. His culinary creations have included popular recipes such as ‘Spicy Bulmayo Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodles,’ ‘Sea Urchin Roe Soy Cream Shrimp Pasta,’ his very own ‘Jungkook-style Buldak Pasta,’ ‘Konjac Rice Gochujang Vegetable Fried Rice,’ and even a unique ‘Cup Noodle Whipped Cream Egg Fried Rice.’
