Global K-pop sensation BTS has expanded its highly anticipated “Arirang” world tour, announcing three additional concerts for the Latin American leg this October.
Revealing the news via the official K-pop fan community platform Weverse, BTS confirmed one extra performance each in Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. These exciting additions bring the total number of “Arirang” tour dates in the vibrant Latin American region to 14, spanning five countries including Colombia and Brazil.
Fans can now mark their calendars for the updated October itinerary: Bogota, Colombia on Oct. 2-3; Lima, Peru on Oct. 7 and Oct. 9-10; Santiago, Chile on Oct. 14 and Oct. 16-17; Buenos Aires, Argentina on Oct. 21 and Oct. 23-24; and Sao Paulo, Brazil on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30-31.
Significantly, these shows will be the first full-group BTS concerts ever held in Colombia, Peru, and Argentina, creating historic moments for ARMYs in these nations.
The “Arirang” world tour follows the successful release of BTS’s fifth studio album, also titled “Arirang,” on March 20. This landmark album marks the group’s highly anticipated return as a full unit, being their first collective project since all members completed their mandatory military service.
The massive “Arirang” world tour is set to kick off in Goyang, northwest of Seoul, with initial performances scheduled for Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. This epic global journey for BTS will extend well into 2027, encompassing a staggering 85 shows across 34 cities around the world. (Yonhap)
