Toss announced record-breaking financial results for 2025 on Wednesday, fueled by enhanced monetization strategies across its platform.
The financial technology company saw its revenue increase by 38 percent year-over-year, reaching 2.7 trillion won ($1.8 billion). Operating profit experienced a significant surge of 270.3 percent, climbing to 336 billion won. Net profit also demonstrated impressive growth, soaring by 846.7 percent to 201.8 billion won.
These strong results are attributed to improved monetization of its expanding user base. Toss reported that its user base exceeded 30 million by the end of 2025, with increased engagement driving growth in advertising, payments, and financial services sectors.
Advertising revenue was boosted by more effective targeted advertising campaigns, while expanded partnerships with merchants and increased in-app commerce contributed to higher payment volumes.
The company also emphasized the positive synergies within its “superapp” ecosystem, with affiliated services contributing to balanced growth across the unified platform.
These results mark Toss’s second consecutive year of profitability, highlighting its ability to successfully convert platform traffic into revenue generation.
