Global sensation BTS is gearing up for a whirlwind of activities following their highly anticipated performance at Gwanghwamun Square this Saturday. After a three-year hiatus from full-group performances, fans are eager to see what’s next for the K-pop icons.
The Gwanghwamun Square concert marks the beginning of BTS’s next chapter, with a series of exciting international events on the horizon.
First stop: New York City! On March 23rd, BTS will host “Spotify x BTS: Swimside,” a special fan event in collaboration with Spotify.
This exclusive event will bring together approximately 1,000 lucky fans for an immersive experience. Attendees can expect a live performance of tracks from their new album, “Arirang,” along with a Q&A session with the members and engaging interactive activities. “Spotify x BTS: Swimside” represents BTS’s first group performance in the US since 2022, making it a must-see for ARMY.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! BTS will also make an appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on March 25th and 26th. This marks their first time on the show since July 2021.
BTS has a history of memorable “Tonight Show” appearances, including their performance of “Butter” on The World Cup Bridge in Seoul and “Idol” in front of the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace. Jimmy Fallon himself teased BTS’s return on social media, expressing his anticipation for their appearance.
Get ready for even more BTS content! Netflix will be releasing a documentary titled “BTS: The Return” on March 27th. The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the seven members as they reflect on their journey and embark on the next phase of their careers while recording their new album, “Arirang,” in Los Angeles.

Beyond their on-screen appearances, fans are buzzing about a potential interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. Lowe is known for his in-depth conversations with leading global artists like Harry Styles and Lady Gaga.
While neither Lowe nor Apple Music has officially confirmed the interview, speculation is high. Lowe recently shared teaser videos on social media hinting at a BTS connection, showcasing BTS’s dance practice studio and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, where promotional material for their comeback concert is displayed.
Lowe also hinted at “something major” coming this Friday – the same day as the “Arirang” album release – further fueling rumors of a BTS interview.

All of these activities surround the highly anticipated release of BTS’s fifth studio album, “Arirang,” dropping on March 20th at 1 p.m. KST. The album’s release is followed by the Gwanghwamun Square concert, which is expected to draw a massive crowd of 260,000 people, including 15,000 lucky fans who secured official tickets.
After two weeks of promotions both domestically and internationally, BTS will officially launch their “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang,'” starting in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9th. Get ready, ARMY! The BTS era is back!
