Samsung Electronics has announced its continued dominance in the global commercial display market, securing the number one spot for the 17th consecutive year. The company boasts a 35.2 percent market share, driven by shipments of 2.5 million units.
In a move to solidify its leadership, Samsung also unveiled innovative next-generation products, including Spatial Signage and Samsung Color E-Paper, further enhancing its comprehensive commercial display portfolio.
Spatial Signage leverages proprietary three-dimensional plate technology to create a captivating illusion of depth within a remarkably slim 52-millimeter display.
Samsung is also expanding its energy-efficient Color E-Paper lineup with the introduction of a new 13-inch model, approximately the size of an A4 sheet of paper, complementing the previously released 32-inch version. This eco-conscious display utilizes bio-resin derived from plant-based materials, resulting in a reduction of carbon emissions by over 40 percent compared to conventional plastics.
Beyond cutting-edge hardware, Samsung is strategically strengthening its software offerings to deliver fully integrated digital signage solutions.
Their Samsung Visual Experience Transformation platform empowers users with remote device management, real-time monitoring capabilities, and streamlined content creation and distribution processes.
The platform is poised to launch an AI-powered content creation application, AI Studio, next month, enabling users to effortlessly generate engaging video content for signage directly from a single image.
“Maintaining the top position for 17 consecutive years reflects our ability to respond quickly to changing business environments and B2B customer needs,” said Kim Hyung-jae, vice president of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business.
Samsung affirms its commitment to expanding its product and solution range to provide enhanced value across various commercial settings.
