SHINee’s Onew is set to embark on his solo fan meetup tour, “Tough Love,” bringing joy to fans across Asia. Griffin Entertainment announced the exciting news on Wednesday, revealing a five-city tour.
The “Tough Love” tour will commence in Taipei, Taiwan, on April 3rd. Following the Taipei kickoff, Onew will return to Seoul for a fan meetup on April 11th. The tour will then continue with highly anticipated stops in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Osaka, Japan. Osaka fans are in for a treat with a three-day event, while Tokyo will host Onew for two days.
The tour’s name, “Tough Love,” is inspired by Onew’s recently released fifth EP of the same name. The EP has already achieved remarkable success, topping iTunes albums charts in nine regions globally. The five-track collection, co-written by Onew himself, sold over 110,000 copies in its first week, marking a new career high for the beloved artist. The EP’s title track also soared to the top of the Top 100 Chart on Bugs, a leading Korean music platform, further solidifying Onew’s continued success.
