BTS’s Jungkook continues to shine on the Billboard charts, setting remarkable long-term records and solidifying his global presence.
According to Billboard’s chart update on March 14th, Jungkook’s debut solo track, “Seven,” secured the 171st position on the ‘Global 200’ chart. This marks an unprecedented achievement as “Seven” becomes the first and longest-charting song by any Asian group or solo artist, maintaining its position for an impressive 35 weeks.
On the same day, “Seven” ranked 87th on Billboard’s ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart. The song also achieved a milestone on this chart, becoming the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist for 38 weeks, further proving its global hit status. Jungkook’s consistent performance on major Billboard charts solidifies his position as a global super pop star.
“Seven” also climbed to 67th place on the Billboard Korea ‘Hot 100’ chart, showing a rise from the previous week. Additionally, on the Billboard ‘Global K-Songs’ chart, “Seven” ranked 13th, “Standing Next to You” secured the 43rd spot, and “3D” landed at 64th. “Seven” continues its strong performance in various Asian regions, holding the 2nd position on the Billboard Vietnam ‘Hot 100’ chart.

Jungkook has previously topped both the Billboard ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts with “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” and “3D.” He has charted a total of 17 songs on the ‘Global 200’ and 18 songs on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts, spending 270 weeks and 321 weeks respectively. Furthermore, he has received a total of 3 trophies at the Billboard Music Awards over two years, setting a record for the most wins among K-Pop solo artists.
“Seven” was named Billboard’s ‘2023 Global Summer Song’ and topped the ‘2024 International Power Players’ list as the most popular song in over 200 countries and regions outside the United States. Jungkook was also selected as the number one artist on the ‘2024 Billboard K-Pop Artist 100’ and was included in the ‘Best Pop Stars of 2023’ list.
