TXT (Tomorrow X Together) is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback with their eighth EP, “7th Year: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Thornbush,” set to release on April 13th. This marks their first release since the group’s contract renewal with Big Hit Music, making it a significant event for both the members and their devoted fans, MOA.
The exciting announcement was initially made during their “Moa Con” fan concert on Sunday. Further details about the upcoming album were revealed on Monday through the Weverse fan platform. On Wednesday, Big Hit Music announced a comeback showcase to be held at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium on the album release day, April 13th, at 8 p.m. KST.
At the comeback showcase, TXT will perform their new title track live for the very first time, offering a glimpse into the choreography and concept. They will also share exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from the album’s production process. To include their global fanbase, the showcase will be livestreamed, allowing MOA worldwide to participate in the celebration.
This comeback is particularly special, representing TXT’s commitment to their musical journey following their contract renewal, igniting excitement and anticipation within the fandom.
A recently released trailer has generated significant buzz with its contrasting visuals: a stark black-and-white aesthetic juxtaposed with vibrant fluorescent-pink thorn imagery. Symbolic silhouettes shrouded in thorns, coupled with the members’ recitation of lines from “Thorn Tree,” have inspired diverse interpretations and heightened the anticipation surrounding the new EP.
“7th Year: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Thornbush” will be available worldwide at 6 p.m. KST on April 13th. Pre-orders are open now! Support TXT’s comeback!
