INFINITE Kim Sungkyu: Mini Album ‘OFF THE MAP’ Release, Music Transformation

Kim Sungkyu is making his highly anticipated return to the music scene with a new album after 2 years and 8 months!

Kim Sungkyu’s 6th mini-album, ‘OFF THE MAP,’ will be released on various music streaming platforms on March 2nd at 6 PM KST.

‘OFF THE MAP’ tells a story about a new beginning that unfolds the moment you deviate from the set path. The album naturally showcases “Artist Kim Sungkyu” through a deeper musical sensibility and sonic transformations compared to his previous works.

The title track, “When I think about you,” is a pop ballad with a cinematic composition and progressive sound. Kim Jongwan of NELL, who has a long-standing relationship with Kim Sungkyu, and composer Spaceboy contributed to the song’s high level of completion.

The album includes a total of 6 tracks that demonstrate Kim Sungkyu’s deepened musical capabilities: “Over It,” which leaves a deep impression with its intense chorus and powerful vocals; “Dreaming,” with its dreamy atmosphere; “Picture,” which highlights sincere emotions; “Answer,” an alternative rock genre track; and an instrumental version of the title track, “When I think about you.”

This album is the result of Kim Sungkyu and his band working together for a long time. ‘OFF THE MAP’ depicts Kim Sungkyu’s present state, where he clearly sets his own direction and proactively chooses his path, fueled by mutual energy. It is expected to captivate global fans with Kim Sungkyu’s new leap forward.

Kim Sungkyu will also hold a concert after the release of ‘OFF THE MAP.’ ‘2026 KIMSUNGKYU LIVE [LV4: Leap to Vector]’ (hereafter ‘LV4’), which will be held at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul, from March 27th to 29th, proved its popularity by selling out all three shows as soon as tickets were released.

The ‘LV’ series is Kim Sungkyu’s signature performance brand that has been ongoing since 2022, connecting with global fans with a new concept for each performance. If the new album is a declaration of setting out on his own path, this concert will be a place to expand Kim Sungkyu’s musical world together with the audience on that path.
