IVE Comeback: New Song “Black Hole” Spoiler

“MZ Wannabe Icons” IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo) has surprised fans with a spoiler video of their new song!

Starship Entertainment, their agency, released the spoiler video for IVE’s 2nd full album ‘REVIVE+’ title track, ‘BLACKHOLE,’ on IVE’s official social media channels on the 20th.

The video begins by showing Liz on a bridge connecting two buildings at the top floor of a tower, with the city still shrouded in darkness. Liz gazes at something with a look that combines the excitement and nervousness of someone facing a new beginning. She then adds a mysterious mood with a gesture as if she’s shooting something forward. In particular, the bluish sky just before dawn and the subtly rising sunlight harmonize with Liz’s appearance, leaving a deep impression.

The short audio clip released together also heightened the immersion of the video. IVE, who previously delivered a dreamy and overwhelming emotion through the highlight medley, revealed the lyrics “Shall it all be sung, be done like this” through this spoiler, hinting at the atmosphere of ‘BLACKHOLE.’ These lyrics are closely related to the meaning of ‘BLACKHOLE,’ where extinction and birth coexist, stimulating curiosity about the message that will be contained in the full song and music video.

The title track ‘BLACKHOLE’ is a shuffle-based track that unfolds in a cinematic atmosphere, with a wide sense of space and filmic sound texture maximizing immersion. Also, as the title track of the 2nd full album, it is expected to newly define the existence of ‘us’ at the center of the album’s narrative.

IVE will release their 2nd full album ‘REVIVE+’ through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 23rd and officially begin activities with the title track ‘BLACKHOLE’.
