Rookie sensation Cortis has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify in 2026, according to Big Hit Music on Thursday. This rapid success highlights the growing popularity of the K-Pop group.
The rookie boy band accomplished this feat in a mere 45 days with a collection of seven tracks. These include six songs from their debut album, “Color Outside the Lines,” and the single “Mention Me,” which they contributed to the soundtrack of the animation “GOAT.”
The group’s debut album, “Color Outside the Lines,” has demonstrated staying power, maintaining a position on Billboard’s World Albums Chart for 23 consecutive weeks. It initially debuted on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart at No. 15, solidifying Cortis’s impact on the global music scene.
Last week, the five-member act took the stage for the NBA Crossover Concert Series in Los Angeles, where they premiered their new track, “Mention Me.” This surprise performance gave fans an exclusive first listen to the group’s new music under the banner of “YCC (Young Creator Crew).”
The single “Mention Me” is slated to be included in Cortis’s upcoming album, expected to be released in April. The band members actively participated in writing the song, which shares its title with the key phrase the group uses to introduce themselves, signifying their creative involvement and identity.
