BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) have showcased their unparalleled presence by creating a global chart sensation with ‘NORMAL,’ following their title track ‘SWIM.’
According to Big Hit Music on the 19th, ‘NORMAL,’ a B-side track from BTS’s 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG,’ has re-entered Spotify’s latest ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart at number 9, joining their title track ‘SWIM’ in the top 10. This marks a significant achievement as both a title track and a B-side from the same album reached high positions on the same chart nearly four months after the album’s release.
‘NORMAL’ re-entered the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart at No. 9 on July 17th. A new single featuring the Korean version of the same title also ranked 78th. Meanwhile, ‘SWIM’ secured the 8th position on the same chart, having previously held the No. 1 spot for 25 consecutive days from March 20th to April 13th, and has maintained a high ranking for 17 weeks.
As of 6 AM on July 19th, the Korean version of ‘NORMAL’ topped the iTunes ‘Top Song’ charts in 70 countries and regions worldwide, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil. BTS released the music video for ‘NORMAL’ via Spotify on July 17th, which features behind-the-scenes footage and glimpses into the members’ everyday lives.
Previously, ‘NORMAL’ debuted at No. 41 on the US Billboard ‘Hot 100’ main song chart on April 4th and remained on the chart for a total of three weeks. The song, featuring renowned producer Ryan Tedder, is characterized by its smooth, conversational singing-rap style.
BTS concluded the European leg of their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG” with a grand finale at Stade de France in Paris, France, on July 17th and 18th (local time). Furthermore, BTS is scheduled to perform at the halftime show of the ‘2026 FIFA North American World Cup’ final at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, USA, on July 19th, sharing the stage with artists such as Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber.
