BTS’s Jimin demonstrated his immense global popularity by securing the top spot with 20,518,555 votes in the ‘October Birthday Vote’ hosted by the global fandom platform ‘THEKKING’.
THEKKING’s October birthday ranking competition ran from July 1st to 13th, involving idols with birthdays between October 1st and 15th. In this initial birthday poll, held in anticipation of Jimin’s birthday on October 13th, fans celebrated the beginning of ‘JIMTOBER’ (Jimin + October) with his victorious first-place finish.
As a result of Jimin’s victory, a birthday cafe event hosted by THEKKING will be held on October 13th. Every October, fans around the world organize celebratory events under the moniker ‘JIMTOBER,’ a portmanteau of Jimin and October.
Meanwhile, Jimin is currently connecting with global fans through BTS’s ongoing ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, which began after the release of their 5th full album. He is also slated to perform at the halftime show of the 2026 International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) North American World Cup final.
