INCHEON — K-pop sensation Le Sserafim successfully launched their highly anticipated second world tour, “Pureflow,” this past weekend. The opening concerts in Incheon were marked not just by captivating spectacle, but by an overwhelming sense of relief, gratitude, and the visible joy of the five members performing together once more, especially with leader Chaewon’s much-awaited return.

The “Pureflow” tour kicked off with two electrifying nights on Saturday and Sunday at Incheon’s Inspire Arena. This marks Le Sserafim’s second major global outing, following their “Easy Crazy Hot” tour which also commenced at the same venue in April 2025. A pivotal highlight of these shows was the emotional return of group leader Chaewon, performing for the first time since her hiatus in May due to a neck injury, making these concerts particularly special for fans.

Chaewon’s triumphant return completed the group’s iconic five-member lineup, reuniting her with Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae on stage.

One of the most highly anticipated moments arrived during the powerful performance of “Boompala,” the lead track from Le Sserafim’s acclaimed second LP, also titled “Pureflow.” Chaewon’s commanding opening section, which she previously couldn’t perform during the album’s promotional cycle due to her injury, ignited an ecstatic roar from the crowd, becoming one of the loudest and most memorable reactions of the entire night.

Her presence on stage visibly uplifted her bandmates, who repeatedly expressed their profound joy and sense of completeness now that Le Sserafim was performing as a full quintet for their dedicated fanbase, Fearnot.

The “Pureflow” concert kicked off with a breathtaking spectacle, featuring dozens of masked dancers embodying the mysterious creatures seen in the group’s latest album concepts and music videos. Following this dramatic prelude, the five members of Le Sserafim made their grand entrance for “Celebration.” The energy surged as they transitioned into “Creatures,” “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife,” and “Intro: Pureflow,” instantly transforming the Inspire Arena into an electrifying party atmosphere.

Interacting warmly with their fans, Sakura encouraged, “Today, don’t worry about what anyone next to you thinks. Just have fun!” Chaewon echoed her sentiment, urging Fearnot not to hesitate and fully immerse themselves, reminding them the concert “would fly by.” As all five Le Sserafim members collectively called on the crowd to enjoy the night “without regrets,” the enthusiasm inside the arena reached a fever pitch, palpable and infectious.

Following a segment featuring their more introspective and softer tracks like “Need Your Company,” “Sonder,” and “Trust Exercise,” the concert’s energy began its powerful resurgence. This build-up culminated in exhilarating band-arranged versions of fan-favorite hits such as “Hot,” “Perfect Night,” “Blue Flame,” and “Easy,” reimagined with a rougher, more immediate, and utterly captivating sound that thrilled the audience.

The dynamic performance further accelerated with high-octane renditions of “Antifragile,” “Irony,” “Crazy,” and “Spaghetti.” The latter track notably featured a never-before-seen dance sequence that sent waves of excitement through the audience. The main set then powerfully concluded with chart-toppers “Unforgiven” and “Fire in the Belly,” leaving fans clamoring for more.

Beyond the spectacular stages and powerful performances, the true emotional core of the “Pureflow” show undeniably remained Le Sserafim’s heartfelt connection and profound relationship with their devoted fans, Fearnot.

Sakura beautifully articulated this sentiment, stating she considers any place where Fearnot gathers to be Le Sserafim’s true stage. She further expressed that the time spent interacting with their fans passes more quickly than anything else, precisely because of the immense happiness it brings to both her and the entire group.

Echoing the group’s shared sentiment, she emphasized, “More than anything, performing as five holds great meaning for me.” She then confidently promised, “We’ll continue to take on all the stages ahead together as five,” reaffirming their commitment to their full lineup.

Chaewon passionately shared that the “Pureflow” concert served as a powerful reminder that a performance is a collaborative creation, built alongside fans, rather than merely presented to them. Yunjin thoughtfully reflected on how the group’s inaugural tour profoundly deepened their understanding of what truly matters to them as artists. She added that touring clarified precisely whom they wished to sing for and the authentic stories they aspire to tell, solidifying their artistic purpose.

Kazuha, with heartfelt sincerity, delivered perhaps the night’s most poignant and clearest expression of this deep-seated sentiment.

“There are days when things don’t go the way we want, and there are difficult moments,” she confessed. “But today, I was truly happy. I felt like this was the moment I live for.”

She added that Fearnot consistently provides her with the invaluable courage to dream bigger and continually move forward, before expressing profound gratitude to her fellow members for embarking on this significant tour together as a complete quintet.

The grand finale of the “Pureflow” opening chapter showcased high-energy performances of “Fearless,” “Iffy Iffy,” “No Celestial,” and “Smart,” concluding an unforgettable series of concerts.

Le Sserafim’s “Pureflow” world tour is set to continue its global journey. The highly anticipated Japanese leg will commence later this month, with confirmed stops in major cities including Osaka, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Miyagi, and Fukuoka, running from July 25 to September 3. Following this, from September, the acclaimed K-pop girl group will embark on the US leg of their extensive tour, before thrilling fans across Europe and Southeast Asia, solidifying their status as a global touring force.
