This makes him the first and only K-pop artist in Spotify’s history to have both the English and Korean versions of a single track each exceed 400 million streams.
‘Like Crazy’ is a standout track from Jimin’s first solo album, ‘FACE’, which was released on March 27, 2023. The English version officially surpassed 400 million streams on June 29, while the Korean version continues its stellar performance, currently recording an astounding 1.46438 billion (1,464,380,000) streams.
This milestone positions the English version of ‘Like Crazy’ as the fourth song on Jimin’s Spotify solo profile to exceed 400 million streams. It joins an elite group of his tracks, which includes ‘Who,’ the title song from his second album ‘MUSE’ (boasting an incredible 2.46533 billion streams), ‘Like Crazy’ (Korean Version), and ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ (with 478.23 million streams).
Co-written and co-composed by Jimin himself, ‘Like Crazy’ holds the prestigious record as the first song by a Korean solo artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, solidifying his status as a global music icon.
