The BTS Arirang World Tour, featuring global superstars Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V, RM, J-Hope, and Suga, offers a unique “hidden gem” that fans eagerly anticipate. At each concert’s encore, two surprise tracks are performed, making every show a distinct and unforgettable experience.
With a main setlist of 16 songs, supplemented by 7 encore tracks, the two changing songs each night keep fans on the edge of their seats. This element of surprise fuels excitement from the moment ARMYs enter the venue, wondering, “Which songs will we hear tonight?”
During the third and final night of the Stanford Stadium concert in the U.S. on May 19th (local time), the audience was treated to “I Need U” and BTS’s 2013 debut track, “No More Dream.” Notably, “No More Dream” made its first appearance across the entire tour, marking a special moment as the first single released by BTS in 2013. The inclusion of their powerful debut song served as a fitting finale for the Stanford leg of their full-group return tour.
Here is the complete list of surprise tracks performed since the Arirang Tour commenced:
▲ Goyang (April 9-12): Day 1 ‘Sowoozoo’ & ‘I Need U’ / Day 2 ‘Take Two’ & ‘DNA’ / Day 3 ‘Spring Day’ & ‘Run’
▲ Tokyo (April 17-18): Day 1 ‘Save ME’ & ‘Crystal Snow’ / Day 2 ‘Dope’ & ‘For You’
▲ Tampa (April 25-26): Day 1 ‘Magic Shop’ & ‘Permission To Dance’ / Day 2 ‘Boy With Luv’ & ‘Pied Piper’
▲ Stanford (May 17-19): Day 1 ‘N.O.’ & ‘Anpanman’ / Day 2 ‘Dope’ & ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ / Day 3 ‘I Need U’ & ‘No More Dream’
Billboard reported that these “surprise songs span BTS’s entire career, from Billboard Hot 100 hits to singles nearly a decade old,” adding that “some tracks are being performed live for the first time in almost 10 years.” Indeed, “Crystal Snow” was one such song, making its long-awaited return to the stage during this tour.
Fan reactions exploded on X (formerly Twitter), with comments like, “Is Jin really dancing ‘No More Dream’?” and “What am I supposed to do with my heart after seeing those body rolls?” The Stanford concert, initially scheduled for two days, saw an additional show added due to overwhelming demand, with over 50,000 fans waving their purple light sticks in unison for the memorable final night.
