Rising K-pop sensation Cortis has achieved a remarkable milestone, securing the No. 5 spot on Billboard’s prestigious Artist 100 chart. Their agency, Big Hit Music, confirmed this impressive feat following the latest chart release on Tuesday in the US.
This rapid ascent follows their debut on the same chart just last September, where the rookie group made their mark at No. 24 with their breakout debut EP, “Color Outside The Lines.” Their consistent growth has been a highlight for K-pop enthusiasts.
Their second EP, “Greengreen,” continued this impressive trajectory, soaring to the No. 3 position on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart dated May 23. This marks the highest chart placement for Cortis to date and establishes a significant record: they are now among the fastest K-pop groups (excluding subunits) to reach the top three on a major chart, achieving this milestone in just nine months since their debut.
Beyond album success, Cortis’s main track “Redred” also demonstrated its global appeal, climbing to No. 38 on the Global 200 chart and an even higher No. 19 on the Global Excl. US chart, showcasing their growing international fanbase.
