BTS has reclaimed the top spot on Billboard’s Global excl. US chart with their hit track “Swim,” marking a total of six weeks at No. 1.
The main track from their fifth studio album, “Arirang,” propelled BTS to a new record, surpassing Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s by an artist in the chart’s global history, as confirmed by label Big Hit Music on Wednesday, quoting Billboard.
The single has also spent eight weeks on the Hot 100, the main songs chart, securing the No. 34 spot in the week of May 23, following its chart-topping debut.
Meanwhile, BTS members Jimin and V each achieved significant milestones on Spotify with their solo music. Jimin’s second solo set, “Muse,” surpassed 4 billion streams on the platform, a historic first for a Korean-language album. V garnered 600 million streams with “Fri(end)s,” a digital single released in 2024, making it his third solo endeavor to reach this benchmark.
