BTS’s highly successful fifth studio album continues its impressive run on the Billboard 200, charting for its seventh consecutive week at No. 7. This marks a slight slip of two positions from its previous week’s standing, as revealed in the latest chart preview published Sunday in the US.
Titled “Arirang,” this landmark K-pop LP made a historic No. 1 debut on the main Billboard albums chart, maintaining its coveted top spot for an unprecedented two additional weeks – a first for any K-pop album. In the subsequent weeks, “Arirang” impressively held strong, ranking at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
Beyond Billboard, the acclaimed album “Arirang” also showcased its global appeal by reclaiming the No. 1 position on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart. Its lead track, “Swim,” further solidified its success, securing the No. 2 spot. Across the Atlantic, on the UK’s prestigious Official Charts, the album landed at No. 20 on the Albums Top 100, while the single “Swim” made its mark at No. 49 on the Singles Top 100.
