K-pop sensation Cortis has achieved a significant milestone, breaking into the top 100 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart with their hit single “RedRed.” This exciting news was announced by their label, Big Hit Music, based on rankings from April 26.
The rising rookie group initially made its debut on the chart at No. 184 last week before experiencing a remarkable surge to No. 98. This impressive climb was fueled by approximately 1.9 million streams garnered on Sunday alone.
“RedRed” serves as the highly anticipated prerelease track from Cortis’s upcoming second EP, titled “GreenGreen.” The track was officially released on April 20, building excitement for the full album’s launch, which is scheduled for May 4.
Anticipation for the new mini-album is soaring, with “GreenGreen” already securing over 2.12 million preorders. This strong performance positions Cortis to potentially replicate the monumental success of their debut effort, “Color Outside the Lines,” which also sold over 2 million copies. Their first EP notably became only the second debut album from a K-pop group to achieve this impressive sales milestone.
