K-pop group BoyNextDoor is gearing up for a highly anticipated June comeback with their first full-length studio album. Ahead of the album’s official release, fans can expect a special pre-release track to drop in May, according to a local media report on Monday. This marks a significant milestone for the group as they expand their discography with a comprehensive new project.
The upcoming studio album follows approximately eight months after the successful release of the group’s fifth EP, “The Action.” BoyNextDoor has consistently demonstrated their strong commercial appeal, with “The Action” surpassing 1 million copies sold. This achievement mirrors the success of their two preceding EPs, “19.99” and “No Genre,” solidifying their status as a million-selling K-pop act. Furthermore, the main track “Hollywood Action” from their last mini-album garnered significant recognition, securing three first-place trophies on major domestic television music chart shows.
Beyond their domestic achievements, BoyNextDoor has also been actively engaging with a global audience. In February, they released a live album recording from the final show of their first international tour, “Knock On Vol. 1.” The expansive tour saw the group perform across 13 cities for a total of 23 shows through July 2025. Their growing international presence was further highlighted by their confirmed spot in the lineup for Lollapalooza Chicago in August, setting the stage for their exciting musical return.
