Hanwha Vision is strategically intensifying its focus on India, positioning the nation as a critical growth engine for its global video surveillance business. The company aims to establish market leadership within India to significantly strengthen its worldwide presence in advanced security solutions.

Highlighting its commitment, Hanwha Vision recently announced it has successfully obtained India’s stringent Standardization Testing and Quality Certification (STQC). This crucial cybersecurity certification is a mandatory requirement for any security equipment provider operating or supplying solutions within the Indian market.

A Hanwha Vision official noted, “India’s regulatory frameworks are exceptionally demanding, often posing considerable challenges even for established global players. Securing STQC certification provides Hanwha Vision with a significant competitive advantage in the world’s third-largest video surveillance market, which ranks only behind China and the United States.”

Since the beginning of the year, Hanwha Vision has already secured numerous contracts across diverse Indian sectors, including finance, retail, and logistics. Concurrently, the company has been actively hosting roadshows nationwide, enhancing its brand recognition and engaging with customers in major metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi.

Looking ahead, Hanwha Vision plans substantial investments to expand its technical support infrastructure and broaden its product lineup specifically tailored for India. The company also intends to establish more Hanwha Innovation & Technology Experience centers across the country, commencing with a flagship center in Bengaluru, to offer customers hands-on demonstrations of its cutting-edge security technologies.

“As India rapidly transforms into a global technology and innovation hub, the demand for sophisticated video surveillance solutions is experiencing a dramatic surge,” a Hanwha Vision official commented. “We are committed to further expanding our footprint in this dynamic market, leveraging our industry-leading technological capabilities and proven global track record in security solutions.”
