BTS member V heralded the return of a ‘stage genius’ with his flawless live vocals and charismatic performances.
BTS kicked off their largest K-pop world tour, ‘BTS World Tour Arirang,’ at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on April 9th, following up with a second electrifying performance on the 11th.
During the first day’s concert, V captivated fans with his overwhelming stage presence and perfect live vocals, radiating peak energy despite the pouring rain. V, who had previously shared that the most challenging aspect of his military service was the inability to perform on stage, moved across the entire stage with intense and passionate dance, as if he had been eagerly awaiting this moment.
Having dedicated himself to building stamina for the concert, V filled the venue with his astonishing energy and powerful vocals. Recognized for his standout vocal performance on the new album, V reaffirmed his identity as a ‘stage’ personal color, delivering unwavering live singing even amidst vigorous choreography.

Renowned for his exceptional dance learning and memory within the group, V, true to his “dance jukebox” reputation, was the first to recall and perform choreography for randomly selected songs, setting the energetic tone for the concert.
Beyond his intense performances, V’s natural groove and effortless enjoyment of the stage, even during songs without complex choreography, drew all eyes like a black hole, solidifying his presence as a “born-to-be idol.” His aura-filled stage domination on the first day garnered widespread global fan attention, uniquely becoming the sole artist to trend in real-time on X (formerly Twitter) in the United States and achieving the highest search volume on Google Trends, affirming his explosive impact.
Before the concert on the 11th, during the soundcheck session, V surprised and touched fans by jumping over the fence to get closer to them. During the “Run BTS” performance, he concluded with a sharp, disciplined salute, once again reminding everyone of his background in the SDT (Special Duty Team).

At the second concert, V continued to demonstrate a mastery of diverse gestures, expressions, and dances for each song, as if embodying a distinct character, truly confirming the comeback of a ‘stage genius’ and ‘god of the stage.’ Fans who witnessed V gazing at each of them as if to take in every single person, couldn’t stop exclaiming in awe at his shockingly unreal visuals, feeling the distinct aura and commanding presence of a true heartthrob even when he merely stood still.
In his closing remarks, V shared his immense joy at reuniting with fans, stating, “My neck hurt a lot after using my voice so much during the first performance because I was incredibly excited, but seeing ARMY today, all my neck pain has vanished.”
