K-pop sensation Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has achieved a remarkable milestone, with the music video for his latest solo single, “Ice Cream,” rapidly accumulating 10 million views. This impressive feat was confirmed by his agency, Big Hit Music, on Monday.
Released on July 10, the captivating music video, which serves as the main track from his highly anticipated second solo EP, “No Labels: Part 02,” soared to this 10-million-view mark in just three days, demonstrating Yeonjun’s immense global appeal and the song’s widespread popularity.
Beyond YouTube views, the catchy tune, characterized by its vibrant percussion beats and distinctive guitar riffs, also dominated music charts. It successfully topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 10 different regions worldwide. Furthermore, the complete six-track EP, ‘No Labels: Part 02,’ replicated this success, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 11 regions.
The ‘No Labels: Part 02’ mini-album itself set new sales benchmarks, selling over 660,000 copies on its release day alone. This monumental achievement establishes a new record for K-pop solo acts this year. Impressively, it also outpaced the first-week sales record of Yeonjun’s previous solo endeavor, which had garnered a commendable 600,000 units.
