Seventeen’s Jeonghan Completes Mandatory Military Service, First Member to Return
On Thursday, Jeonghan of the globally acclaimed K-pop group Seventeen officially concluded his mandatory military service, marking a significant milestone as the first among the 13-member boy group to complete his enlistment. The popular singer had been diligently serving as a social service agent since September 26, 2024.
Jeonghan’s highly anticipated return comes as Seventeen continues to navigate its ongoing military hiatus period. Other members are also currently enlisted; Wonwoo is serving as a social service agent, while Hoshi and Woozi are on active duty. Further enlistments are anticipated in the coming months, with Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino also expected to commence their service.
As the pioneer member to return from military service, all eyes are now on Jeonghan’s upcoming activities and his potential reintegration into Seventeen’s promotions. The group continues to manage an extended enlistment period by focusing on unit and solo activities, ensuring continued engagement with their dedicated fanbase, Carats.
Recently, Seventeen successfully concluded their 10th annual fan meeting, “Carat Land,” held at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on June 20 and 21. This significant event marked one of the last opportunities for fans to see the full group together in a large-scale setting before additional members commenced their military duties.
Despite the staggered enlistments, Carats can eagerly anticipate the gradual return of members to group activities one by one over the next few years, promising a series of exciting reunions and renewed performances from Seventeen.
