Global K-Pop sensation Lisa, a member of Blackpink, addressed her deep-seated privacy concerns during a recent interview with Vanity Fair, while notably sidestepping direct questions about her personal relationships.

Titled “The Life of a K-Pop Showgirl,” the revealing cover story delves into the life of the 29-year-old Thai-born artist, showcasing Lisa not just as a successful singer and actor, but also exploring her journey as an individual.

Vanity Fair highlights Lisa’s steadfast refusal to discuss her personal life in interviews, noting that her publicist had cautioned her twice against addressing such topics.

The interview touched upon persistent rumors linking Lisa romantically with Frederic Arnault, son of LVMH billionaire Bernard Arnault, since 2023. The pair has been seen together publicly on multiple occasions, including an Arnault family gathering, though neither has officially confirmed the dating speculation.

Rather than addressing public curiosity about her romantic life, Lisa candidly shared her harrowing experiences with “sasaengs” – obsessive fans or stalkers who invade her personal space.

She recounted incidents where a fan trespassed into her private home, where she resides alone, and another attempted to force their way into her taxi.

Reflecting on these challenging situations, Lisa told Vanity Fair, “I feel like after I came out and talked about how there’s no privacy for me, [fans] now respect that a lot more. They know that being in this position is not easy. Sometimes it’s just a little too much, and sometimes I just want to be normal.”
