K-pop sensation Illit has once again secured a first-place win on a major television music chart show with their hit single “It’s Me,” an impressive feat considering promotions for the track concluded last month, as announced by their agency Belift Lab.
This victory marks the rising K-pop group’s fourth music show trophy achieved over three consecutive weeks, a testament to the widespread popularity of their lead single and title track from their highly successful fourth EP, “Mamihlapinatapai.”
Illit’s global impact is further evident on the Billboard charts; the single ‘It’s Me’ impressively peaked at No. 32 on Billboard’s Global 200 and No. 67 on the Global Excl. US chart. Their mini-album, ‘Mamihlapinatapai,’ also made a significant mark, debuting at No. 26 on the prestigious Billboard 200, marking a new career-best for the talented fivesome.
Expanding their international presence, Illit recently captivated audiences in Osaka as part of their exciting “Press Start” tour. The popular K-pop group is now gearing up for more highly anticipated shows across Japan next week, with scheduled performances in Fukuoka, Kobe, and Tokyo. Fans can also look forward to the release of Illit’s second Japanese single, “I Got Your Back,” which will drop on the final day of their Tokyo concert.
