K-pop powerhouse TWICE has once again demonstrated their immense global popularity, with the music video for their iconic track “Cheer Up” officially surpassing an impressive 600 million views on YouTube. This significant milestone was announced by their agency, JYP Entertainment, on Monday, highlighting the enduring appeal of the group’s early work and their consistent digital success.

“Cheer Up” now proudly stands as the group’s fifth music video to achieve this monumental 600 million-view benchmark on YouTube. It joins a prestigious list of TWICE’s mega-hits, including “TT,” “What is Love?,” “Likey,” and “Fancy,” further solidifying their status as chart-topping artists and dominant figures in the K-pop landscape.

Released in 2016, “Cheer Up” is an iconic pop-dance anthem that served as the lead single for the nine-member group’s highly successful second EP, “Page Two.” This mini-album not only captured hearts but also made history, selling nearly 180,000 copies by year-end. This remarkable achievement positioned TWICE as the first K-pop girl group to debut after 2010 to surpass 100,000 unit sales, a testament to their immediate impact and burgeoning fandom.

In other significant news, TWICE is preparing to captivate fans with three highly anticipated shows in Seoul next month. These concerts will mark the grand finale of their monumental “This Is For” global tour, an epic journey that saw the group perform 81 shows across an astounding 44 regions worldwide. Notably, the North American leg of the tour alone attracted approximately 550,000 attendees, setting a new, unprecedented record for a K-pop girl group and underscoring TWICE’s immense international draw.
