Veteran K-pop Group to Embark on Extensive 31-Show Global Tour for 20th Anniversary Celebration
Global K-pop legends Big Bang have officially unveiled ambitious plans for a massive world tour to commemorate their monumental 20th anniversary, with performances set to captivate fans from August through early 2027.
YG Entertainment officially launched the promotional poster for the legendary group’s highly anticipated global tour across its social media platforms on Thursday. This extensive concert series is scheduled to kick off in Korea in August, extending its international reach through February 2027.
According to the agency, Big Bang is currently slated to perform an impressive 31 shows spanning 18 major cities worldwide, beginning with three powerful concerts in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The tour then heads to the US for impactful shows in Oakland and East Rutherford, before making its European stops in iconic cities like Paris and London.
From October to mid-November, the renowned trio will be traveling across Asia and Oceania with confirmed stops in Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Dedicated Japan shows are scheduled from late November to late December, including performances in Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka.
After Big Bang returns to two vibrant Southeast Asian cities in January 2027 — specifically Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta — the celebrated group is scheduled to wrap up its epic journey in February at Kaohsiung.
YG Entertainment also confirmed that additional tour stops will be officially announced at a later date, promising more opportunities for fans to witness the spectacle.
Big Bang’s agency highlighted that many of the currently scheduled tour stops are set to take place at iconic major stadiums and world-renowned dome venues. These include Goyang Stadium, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Stade de France in Paris, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Kaohsiung National Stadium, Taipei Dome, Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome Osaka, and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka, underscoring the immense scale of this K-pop world tour.
This landmark tour marks Big Bang’s first monumental global tour in nearly a decade and forms a central part of a broader series of special projects commemorating the group’s 20th anniversary.
Alongside the highly anticipated concert tour, Big Bang is also launching an engaging fan participation event titled “Still Alive.” Through this unique initiative, fans are invited to share their cherished stories and memorabilia related to the group, including light sticks and concert tickets. This exciting event will run through June 21 on the group’s official community platform, B.stage, fostering deeper connection with their dedicated fanbase.
