Illit is currently enjoying a strong three-week run on the highly competitive Billboard Global Excl. US and Global 200 charts with their single “It’s Me,” their agency Belift Lab announced Thursday, citing the latest chart data.
The acclaimed single achieved impressive rankings, landing at No. 47 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart and No. 95 on the Global 200. Notably, “It’s Me” previously reached peak positions of No. 32 and No. 67 on these prominent charts, respectively.
“It’s Me” serves as the captivating focus track from Illit’s fourth extended play (EP), “Mamihlapinatapai.” Since its release in April, the EP has achieved blockbuster success, selling over 410,000 copies in its first week alone – marking a significant career-best for the rising K-pop quintet. Furthermore, the mini album soared to the top of Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking upon its debut in Japan. The lead single also showcased phenomenal popularity in Japan, generating over 5.2 million plays in a single week, securing its place as the most weekly streams for an international female group this year.
