Exciting news for ARMYs worldwide! Big Hit Music has officially announced that BTS’ highly anticipated Busan concert will be broadcast live in cinemas globally on June 13 through a special live viewing event.
The second day of BTS’ monumental “Arirang” performances in Busan is set to be livestreamed, offering fans across the globe an unparalleled real-time experience. This global live viewing event promises the thrill of the concert, delivered through expansive cinema screens and powerful, immersive sound systems.
This massive global live viewing spectacle will span approximately 3,800 theaters in over 80 countries and regions worldwide. To accommodate diverse time zones, special delayed screenings are also scheduled within one to two days following the concert for fans in North America, South America, and Europe, ensuring no ARMY misses out on the “Arirang” tour experience.
For fans in Korea, screenings will be available at the nation’s three leading multiplex cinema chains: CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Korean ticket reservations kick off on May 28 at 10 a.m. KST. Global ticket sales will then open sequentially, beginning at 10 p.m. KST on the same day. For comprehensive details on participating countries and regions, fans should visit the official BTS Live Viewing website.
The upcoming BTS concert at Busan Asiad Main Stadium holds immense significance for both the group and its dedicated fanbase. This historic venue previously hosted the “Yet to Come in Busan” show in October 2022, a concert staged to support Busan’s bid for the 2030 World Expo. Adding to its special nature, the June 13 performance also beautifully coincides with BTS’ 13th debut anniversary, making it an even more meaningful global celebration for ARMYs unable to attend in person.
The “Arirang” world tour has been a spectacular journey for BTS, commencing in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, back in April. This monumental tour encompasses an astounding 85 shows across 34 vibrant cities spanning North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. It proudly stands as the largest single tour ever undertaken by a Korean artist, cementing BTS’ global dominance.
Demonstrating their immense global appeal, BTS made history on May 16, 17, and 19 by becoming only the second act ever, following legendary British rock band Coldplay, to perform at the iconic Stanford Stadium. These three electrifying concerts drew tens of thousands of passionate fans. The group is also gearing up for more dynamic performances in Las Vegas on May 23, 24, 27, and 28.
