K-pop idol Chaewon from the popular group Le Sserafim will be taking a temporary hiatus from all activities due to health concerns, her agency Source Music announced on Wednesday.
Chaewon has recently been receiving medical treatment for neck pain. To ensure a full recovery, she will focus solely on her health, consequently missing upcoming group activities for Le Sserafim’s highly anticipated second full album, ‘Pureflow pt. 1.’ These promotions include a live showcase and various television music chart appearances.
Concerns among fans have grown after witnessing the idol appear to be in pain during performances of ‘Celebration,’ a track from the upcoming ‘Pureflow pt. 1’ album.
Le Sserafim, originally a five-member K-pop sensation, is scheduled to release their new LP, ‘Pureflow pt. 1,’ on May 22. However, the group will proceed with promotions as a quartet until Chaewon’s health allows her to return.
Meanwhile, the group successfully released a captivating teaser video for ‘Boompala’ on Wednesday, confirming it as the main title track from their second full-length album.
