A prominent Belgian fashion designer has publicly accused the team representing **Blackpink’s Jisoo** of failing to return high-value clothing loaned for an **album photoshoot**. The designer later clarified that the dispute is now in the process of being resolved.
**Benjamin Bortmans**, founder of the independent **Belgian fashion label Judassime**, initially raised the issue via Instagram videos. He alleged that several unique garments, specifically sent to South Korea for **Jisoo’s album cover shoot**, had not been returned for over six months.
The **fashion controversy** erupted after Bortmans claimed certain pieces from his collection, described as “important archive items,” remained unreturned despite his persistent efforts to contact the singer’s team.
“Six months ago, I sent multiple pieces for **Jisoo’s album cover project**,” Bortmans stated in an earlier video, which has since been removed. He emphasized, “Some of them were very important archive pieces and extremely expensive.”
The **Judassime brand’s official social media** channels also directly tagged **Jisoo’s Instagram account** in posts, explicitly demanding the return of the specific garments. Bortmans further asserted in his video that he had dispatched invoices and contracts concerning the items, hinting at potential legal action, yet received no communication in return.
In a follow-up video uploaded on Wednesday, Bortmans announced he had received positive news that “everything is being solved,” indicating that arrangements were being made to retrieve the designer items. However, his initial public call-out of **Blackpink’s Jisoo** led to significant online criticism, with many arguing he unfairly targeted the K-pop idol for an issue potentially beyond her direct control.
“I never attacked **Jisoo**,” Bortmans clarified. “I included her name in the video title specifically to elicit a response from her management team. Her name was integral to the photoshoot, appearing across all relevant emails and documents.”
He further emphasized that he held no ill will towards the renowned singer, stating his admiration for “everything she does and what she stands for.” Nevertheless, Bortmans expressed strong criticism regarding the prolonged lack of communication, calling it “terrible” to endure months without any updates or responses about the **missing Judassime items**.
As of press time, **Blackpink Jisoo’s agency** had not yet provided a comment regarding the ongoing situation.
