K-pop sensation Babymonster has officially surpassed 400 million views on YouTube with their compelling music video for “Sheesh,” as confirmed by their agency, YG Entertainment, on Friday.
Released in April 2024, the ‘Sheesh’ music video notably served as the official debut track for Babymonster. This groundbreaking achievement marks the fastest time a K-pop girl group’s debut single music video has reached the 400 million view mark on the platform, having rapidly accumulated 100, 200, and 300 million views previously.
“Sheesh” also demonstrated impressive international chart performance, making significant waves on Billboard’s global rankings. The track soared to No. 33 on the Global 200 and an even higher No. 16 on the Global Excl. US chart, maintaining its presence for 14 and 18 weeks, respectively.
Looking ahead, the talented seven-member K-pop act is set for a highly anticipated comeback. They will release their third EP, “Choom,” on May 4. Following this, Babymonster will embark on their first world tour, starting with three thrilling shows in Seoul on June 26.
