The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) has once again affirmed its leadership in public data excellence, achieving the highest rating in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s annual assessment for public data provision and management. This marks the sixth consecutive year aT has received this prestigious recognition.
The comprehensive 2025 evaluation rigorously assessed 684 central and local government bodies, alongside various public corporations and quasi-government agencies. Notably, this year’s assessment introduced a pivotal “AI-friendly, high-value data disclosure” index, reflecting the evolving digital landscape. The grading system was also expanded to five tiers: very excellent, excellent, average, below average, and poor, providing a more granular evaluation of data management performance.
aT showcased outstanding performance, securing an impressive score of 97.04 points. This figure significantly surpasses the overall average of 67.6 points across all evaluated organizations and stands well above the 92.5 average specifically for public corporations and quasi-government agencies, underscoring aT’s exceptional commitment to data quality.
The agency garnered particular commendation for its consistent delivery of high-quality data and its proactive initiatives to promote data utilization within the private sector. Furthermore, aT received an “Excellent” rating in data quality certification, spanning across 12 of its major information systems, validating the robustness and reliability of its data infrastructure.
