Global K-pop sensation BTS continues its impressive chart run, with ten songs from their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Arirang,” remaining strong on Billboard’s Hot 100. The album’s lead single, “Swim,” particularly distinguished itself by securing the No. 2 position on the latest chart.
For the chart dated April 11, “Swim” gracefully moved to second place after achieving a groundbreaking chart-topping debut the previous week. This historic achievement saw an astounding 13 out of the album’s 14 tracks simultaneously land on the prestigious Hot 100. Furthermore, the “Arirang” album marks a significant milestone by spending a second consecutive week atop the Billboard 200, a pioneering feat for any K-pop group or artist.
The acclaimed septet is gearing up to commence their much-anticipated “Arirang” world tour this Thursday, kicking off with three nights of electrifying performances in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Expanding their global footprint, the group announced on Wednesday the exciting addition of key South American cities to their tour itinerary: Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. This expansion marks a historic occasion as it will be the first time BTS visits these parts of South America as a complete group.
