K-pop sensation Wanna One celebrated the highly anticipated launch of their new reality show, “Wanna One Go: Back to Base,” with an exclusive fan meet-and-greet event held in Seoul on Monday.
Nine members of the iconic 11-piece K-pop act reunited for this special “opening ceremony.” The event took place at the very venue where they first connected with fans during their participation in the second season of the immensely popular K-pop competition, “Produce 101.” Donning classic gray uniforms, the group evoked nostalgic memories of their 2017 debut.
Noticeably absent were Kang Daniel, currently serving his mandatory military service, and Lai Kuanlin, unable to attend due to prior scheduling conflicts. However, both members were represented on stage by popular lifesize cutouts, ensuring their presence was felt by the adoring fanbase.
“We teamed up again so that we could deliver new memories and feelings to our fans,” shared member Park Jihoon, who recently garnered acclaim for his role in the megahit film “The King’s Warden.” He further promised, “We will do our very best to make this show special.”
Fans can look forward to the premiere of “Wanna One Go: Back to Base” starting April 28.
