Hybe’s Latin Pop Boy Group, Santos Bravos, Set for Historic Debut on Korean Music Shows
Santos Bravos, the dynamic Latin pop boy group under the renowned entertainment powerhouse Hybe, is officially set to make its highly anticipated debut appearance on Korean music shows – a significant milestone since their formation.
Hybe Latin America confirms that the quintet will arrive in Korea this Friday, embarking on an intensive three-week schedule packed with diverse promotional activities, including captivating performances on prominent local music programs.
“Promoting in Korea, the undisputed birthplace of K-pop, represents a profoundly meaningful challenge for us,” stated Santos Bravos. “We are eager to deliver exceptional performances with the utmost respect, all while proudly showcasing our vibrant Latin roots.”
This talented quintet launched in Mexico last October, following rigorous K-pop-style training—a core component of Hybe’s innovative “multihome, multigenre” strategy spearheaded by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, the visionary producer behind global sensation BTS. Santos Bravos uniquely captivates audiences by seamlessly blending the vibrant, free-spirited energy of Latin music with the sophisticated, polished production style synonymous with K-pop artistry.
Beyond their debut, Santos Bravos has swiftly established a formidable presence on prominent global stages. This January, they captivated audiences at Paris Fashion Week for designer Willy Chavarria’s highly anticipated fall-winter 2026 show, “Eterno.” February saw them as special guests at electrifying Mexican concerts by the iconic Latin pop star Shakira, followed by show-stopping performances at major festivals, including Colombia’s renowned Estereo Picnic in March.
Most recently, Santos Bravos unveiled their compelling first EP, titled “Dual.” This album powerfully encapsulates the group’s unique dual identity, masterfully combining playful charm with an intense, instinctive energy. “Dual” impressively spans a diverse range of genres, including reggaeton, Brazilian funk, and vibrant club music, distinctly showcasing the group’s exceptionally broad and innovative musical spectrum.
