South Korean low-cost carrier T’way Air announced Tuesday that its shareholders have approved a name change to “Trinity Airways.” This rebranding strategy aims to solidify the airline’s brand identity in the competitive aviation market.
The decision was ratified at the airline’s annual general meeting, held at its training facility in western Seoul. Shareholders approved an amendment to the company’s articles of incorporation, formally paving the way for the name change.
The official transition to Trinity Airways is pending completion of necessary regulatory approvals from both domestic and international aviation authorities.
T’way Air reassured passengers that existing reservations and flight numbers will remain unaffected. The airline code “TW” will also stay the same. The company website and all current service operations will continue to function without interruption during the rebranding process.
To ensure a seamless transition and minimize potential confusion, the airline plans a phased rollout of the new Trinity Airways brand across its official communication channels, including its website and all customer notifications.
“As we transition to Trinity Airways, we are committed to a smooth transition that minimizes any inconvenience for our customers and the market as a whole,” stated a company official. “Our unwavering commitment to safety and high-quality service will remain paramount throughout this process.”
