Twice’s Dahyun will unfortunately be taking a break from the group’s ongoing tour due to an ankle fracture, JYP Entertainment announced on Wednesday. The agency confirmed that Dahyun will be focusing on her recovery, leading to her absence from upcoming performances.
Dahyun initially sustained the injury in January during the North American leg of Twice’s expansive 43-city “This Is For” tour. Despite the injury, she bravely attempted to continue performing, even using a chair on stage. However, following medical advice, she has been absent from shows since mid-February to prioritize healing.
Currently, Dahyun is suspending all activities to concentrate on her recovery. Twice is scheduled to resume their US tour this Friday, embarking on performances in eight different cities across the country. Fans are eagerly awaiting her return and wishing her a speedy recovery.
In related news, Chaeyoung has postponed her flight scheduled for Thursday to receive treatment for sudden back pain, according to JYP Entertainment. The label extended apologies to fans on Chaeyoung’s behalf for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish Chaeyoung a quick recovery as well.
