Former Enhypen member Heeseung addressed his departure from the popular K-pop boy group for the first time on Sunday.
During a video call event with fans, marking his first public appearance since Belift Lab’s announcement on March 10th, Heeseung shared his feelings. He stated that his fans “must have been really surprised, but I am fine.”
“I feel a little sorry on the one hand,” he admitted, hinting at future solo endeavors by saying he would be releasing an album soon.
Heeseung is embarking on a solo career as a singer. Meanwhile, Enhypen, originally formed in 2020, will continue as a six-member group.
In related news, Enhypen’s seventh EP, “The Sin: Vanish,” experienced a surge on the Billboard 200 chart, climbing 74 spots from the previous week to reach No. 61. The EP has been on the chart for eight weeks, with a peak position of No. 2.
