Harold Rogers, Rep. Yeom Tae-young fulfill their agreement made during National Assembly’s hearing last year
Coupang interim CEO Harold Rogers experienced a dawn delivery shift, vowing to enhance safety and working conditions for all Coupang employees.
Coupang announced on Friday that Rogers participated in the company’s dawn delivery service from 8:30 p.m. Thursday to 6:30 a.m. Friday in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. He immersed himself in the overnight logistics operation to understand the full process.
This hands-on experience fulfilled a request made by Rep. Yeom Tae-young during a National Assembly hearing in December. Yeom suggested Rogers join an overnight delivery shift, a proposal Rogers accepted.

Following safety training and package loading at a Coupang Logistics Services center, Rogers and Rep. Yeom, in separate trucks accompanied by experienced Coupang drivers, delivered packages to apartments, villas, and houses across the region.
Coupang plans to use feedback from frontline logistics operations to further improve employee working conditions and health protections.
“I am proud of all workers at Coupang, including our delivery personnel who dedicate themselves to serving customers,” said Rogers. “We will continue to strive to create a safer and more advanced working environment.”
