P1Harmony’s latest EP, “Unique,” has achieved a remarkable milestone, selling half a million copies within its first week of release. This achievement marks a new personal record for the six-member K-pop group, according to their agency, FNC Entertainment, announced on Thursday.
The phenomenal success of “Unique” is further underscored by the fact that it surpassed the entire first-week sales figures of their previous EP, “Duh!,” in a single day. Notably, “Duh!” previously made its mark on the Billboard 200 chart, debuting at No. 23. Furthermore, P1Harmony’s first English-language album, “Ex,” released in September of last year, achieved an impressive No. 9 position on the same prominent albums chart.
The narrative of the new album depicts the P1Harmony members resuming their superhero responsibilities after a period of rest. “Unique” has already topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in four different regions, demonstrating its global appeal. The title track has also garnered significant recognition, securing the group first place on a television music chart show on Thursday.
