Daewoo Engineering & Construction is set to introduce its luxury residential brand, Summit, to several key redevelopment projects in Seoul and Gwacheon this year, the company announced on Wednesday. This move signifies Daewoo E&C’s commitment to expanding its presence in the high-end housing market.
The planned projects include Heukseok District 11, Singil District 10, Noryangjin District 5, and Gwacheon Jugong Complex 5. These locations are strategically chosen to showcase the premium offerings of the Summit brand.
Since its initial launch with the Yongsan Prugio Summit in 2014, Daewoo E&C has consistently elevated the Summit brand, establishing it as a residential benchmark distinguished by advanced design principles and superior finishing standards.
The Yongsan complex, a product of the Yongsan Station Front District 2 redevelopment, has recently garnered increased attention. This is partly attributed to its recognition as the residence of Blackpink’s Rose, contributing to a growing global fascination with Korean apartment culture and luxury living spaces.
The Seocho Prugio Summit project further pushed boundaries by introducing Korea’s first “sky community” facility within a high-rise apartment setting. This innovative design connects two residential towers via a sky bridge, housing shared amenities such as a book cafe and fostering a sense of community.
The Gwacheon Prugio Summit, a reconstruction of the former Gwacheon Jugong Complex 1, stands out as one of the most prestigious apartment complexes in Gyeonggi Province. Its array of premium amenities includes a sky lounge, a guest house, and an expansive community facility spanning approximately 9,300 square meters, complete with an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and sauna.
Daewoo E&C’s commitment to design excellence has also been recognized internationally. The amenity design implemented at La Cervo Summit, a Haengdang District 7 redevelopment project, received a prestigious main prize at the 2026 iF Design Award in Germany.
