Kolmar Korea announced Thursday the launch of South Korea’s first automated system for antimicrobial effectiveness testing in cosmetics. This innovation comes as the demand for robust product safety verification grows alongside the global expansion of K-beauty. The new robot-driven preservative efficacy testing system significantly enhances the speed of evaluating a cosmetic product’s ability to resist microorganisms, including bacteria and mold. It offers a processing speed approximately 2.5 times faster than traditional manual methods. Addressing the need for quicker and more accurate safety assessments, Kolmar Korea aims to integrate robotics and artificial intelligence throughout its testing processes. This initiative seeks to establish a cutting-edge physical AI research environment, blending the power of robotics and machine learning in cosmetic safety testing. (Kolmar Korea)
