Business leaders from both nations convened to explore avenues for enhanced economic collaboration and partnership.
On Thursday, the visit continued with an inspection of HD Hyundai Philippines Shipyard in Subic Bay. Chairman Chung reviewed the progress of staff dormitory construction and engaged with employees working at the facility.
During a luncheon with the employees, Chairman Chung emphasized the company’s commitment to prioritizing worker well-being, including housing, healthcare, and safety. He also encouraged the workforce to maintain a strong focus on security in all their duties.
HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering established HD Hyundai Philippines in May 2024, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
