Legendary K-pop group Big Bang will return to the stage as a trio with G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, celebrating their 20th anniversary with a global tour.
Big Bang, the iconic K-pop group, is planning a highly anticipated global tour this year to commemorate their 20th anniversary debut, YG Entertainment officially announced on Wednesday. This news has generated immense excitement among fans worldwide.
The tour will feature the remaining three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, promising a powerful and nostalgic performance for VIPs (Big Bang’s fanbase).
The announcement came at the end of a video released by YG Entertainment, where founder and executive producer Yang Hyun-suk confirmed the group’s agreement to hold a series of concerts to celebrate this significant milestone in their career.
“I think the reason people miss Big Bang and eagerly await their concerts is because they long to see and hear the numerous hit songs the group has performed over the years, live on stage once again,” Yang stated in the video. “To put it simply, as Big Bang marks its 20th anniversary this year, we have agreed to hold concerts and launch a global tour.”

Yang Hyun-suk also emphasized that the long-standing and solid relationship between Big Bang and YG Entertainment will ensure a smooth and successful preparation process for the tour.
“YG Entertainment and Big Bang have worked closely together for a long time, so I don’t anticipate any major difficulties,” he said. “All of YG’s staff will dedicate their best efforts to create a beautiful, complete, and outstanding performance for the fans.”
Big Bang, who debuted in 2006, is widely recognized as one of the most influential and groundbreaking K-pop groups of the 2010s. The group has produced a string of mega-hits that have shaped the K-pop landscape, including iconic songs like “Lies,” “Last Farewell,” “Haru Haru,” “Fantastic Baby,” and “Bang Bang Bang.” Their innovative music and captivating performances have earned them a dedicated global fanbase.
Although they debuted as a five-member group, Big Bang now continues as a trio after Seungri terminated his contract with YG Entertainment in 2019 and T.O.P departed the lineup in 2023. It has been reported that T.O.P is currently preparing for a solo release later this year.
Adding to the excitement, Big Bang is also scheduled to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California on April 12th and 19th. This performance is expected to serve as a warm-up for the group’s highly anticipated anniversary activities and global tour. Fans are eager to see Big Bang back on stage and anticipate unforgettable performances.
