K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation) is making waves at Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026) in Barcelona, presenting its cutting-edge AI-driven water management technologies to a worldwide audience. MWC is the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event.
Under this year’s MWC theme, “The IQ Era,” K-water is showcasing intelligent water solutions that leverage data for autonomous decision-making and optimized operations. The display highlights the achievements of K-water’s AI transformation journey and its ambitions for global market expansion.
Eight leading domestic water-tech companies are joining K-water at MWC: Assembble, DroMii, Geogrid, Ino-on, Serdic, Stellarvision, Toicos, and WI.Plat. K-water is supporting their participation in the “4 Years From Now” (4YFN) startup platform and facilitating meetings with international partners to help them secure valuable export opportunities.
At the dedicated “K-water Hall” and through specialized technical sessions, K-water is introducing key innovations, including AI-powered water purification plants, Digital Garam+ (a digital twin technology replicating dam operations in a virtual environment), and smart water network management systems designed to minimize water leakage.
K-water is also unveiling an AI-based model for real-time water issue management, seeking technological collaborations with global tech giants like Google and Meta.
These technologies have already earned international recognition. At MWC 2026, K-water’s digital twin and smart water network management solutions were selected as finalists for the prestigious Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO Awards), organized by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA).
“Showcasing our technologies on the global stage, from CES to MWC, is a core part of our strategy to expand partnerships and share the results of our transition to AI-powered water management,” stated K-water President Yun Seog-dae.
