G-Dragon’s year-long “Ubermensch” media exhibition concluded its run in Bangkok, attracting over 250,000 visitors, according to Galaxy Corp. on Tuesday.
The exhibition, inspired by and incorporating state-of-the-art technology to express the themes of the artist’s third solo studio album, “Ubermensch,” created an interactive experience. It effectively blurred the lines between a traditional exhibition and a performance, encouraging active viewer participation.
First launched in Seoul in March of last year, the “Ubermensch” exhibition traveled to 10 major cities throughout Asia, including Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. It also successfully secured three exhibition venues in mainland China.
In addition to the exhibition, G-Dragon connected with 90,000 fans in person at solo fan meetups held in February in Seoul, Yokohama (Japan), and Bangkok. Starting March 26th, fans will be able to experience an encore performance of his “Ubermensch” solo tour exclusively on a Korean streaming service.
