BTS is poised to make history at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, breaking audience capacity records for a single concert at the venue, according to Live Nation UK.
The British concert promoter announced via its social media channels that BTS’s dedicated fandom, ARMY, will “create highest single show capacity” for the group’s highly anticipated concerts at the stadium.
BTS is scheduled to perform two shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6th and 7th, expecting an estimated 120,000 fans. The concerts will feature a dynamic 360-degree stage setup, offering fans an immersive experience.
According to Ticketmaster, tickets for both London shows sold out completely within an astonishing 30 minutes, demonstrating the immense popularity of BTS and the high demand for their performances.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, home to the English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur, has a seating capacity of approximately 62,000. Since its opening in 2019, the stadium has hosted numerous international acts, including Beyonce, Travis Scott, and fellow K-pop group Stray Kids.
The London shows are part of BTS’s upcoming world tour, which kicks off on April 9th at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province. In addition to the sold-out London dates, all currently listed shows are completely sold out, highlighting the group’s global appeal.

Excitement is also mounting for BTS’s highly anticipated fifth full-length album, “Arirang,” scheduled for release on March 20th. This marks their first full-group musical activity in over three years, intensifying the anticipation among fans.
As of February 4th, the album secured the No. 1 position for the third consecutive week on Spotify’s Countdown Chart Global – a chart based on presave counts for upcoming releases – surpassing other major Western artists like Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, and Charli XCX. According to Spotify, as cited by Big Hit Music, the album exceeded 3 million pre-saves as of the specified date and reached 1 million within just two days of presaves opening.
All eyes are on whether “Arirang” will surpass Taylor Swift’s record for the highest number of presaves in Spotify history. Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” reportedly achieved 6 million presaves prior to its release.
In addition to the album release, BTS is scheduled to hold a live comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on March 21st. The performance will be livestreamed globally via Netflix in over 190 countries, allowing fans worldwide to participate in the momentous occasion.
Meanwhile, BTS’s previous releases continue to garner steady appreciation from fans in anticipation of their long-awaited comeback.
The music video for “Boy With Luv,” the leading track from the group’s 2019 album “Map of the Soul: Persona,” exceeded 1.9 billion views on YouTube in January. This accomplishment marks BTS’s second video to achieve this milestone, following their 2020 track “Dynamite,” which has already amassed over 2 billion views.
